The updates include:
- New sections that provide guidance to designated work doctors (DWDs) and employers on assessing the need for medical surveillance
- Reorganised content to guide employers, WSH professionals and DWDs on the purpose and implementation of a medical surveillance programme
- Expanded guidance on managing abnormal laboratory results
On 7th Nov 2025, the WSH Council announced that the Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower, has revised and updated the WSH Guidelines on Statutory Medical Examination.
